　　題目：Student’s bad or undesirable behavior(不良行為) often poses a serious problem in many schools and colleges. What are some of the causes of this phenomenon and what can schools and parents do to reduce the problem?

　　譯：學生的不良行為常會給一些學校帶來嚴重的問題與后果。這種現象產生的原因是什么?學校和家長能夠做些什么來減輕這種問題?

　　在本文中我們講采用四段式的結構：

　　開頭段2-4句

　　本段寫背景

　　1 介紹社會背景，如覺得累贅也可以省略。

　　2 交代本文分析的事哪一個話題。

　　3 強調這個問題正在引起關注，本句也可省略。

　　4 說明文章要分析這個現象的原因和解決方案。

　　Currently, Student’s undesirable behavior is causing great concern. In this essay,I intend to explore the cause and the solution of this issue.

　　大家可以記住這樣的句式與結構。

　　第二段1-6句

　　分析現象的原因

　　1 說明本段會介紹現象的原因。

　　2 寫這種現象的第一個原因。

　　3 寫一句話來解釋、支持這個原因。

　　4 寫這種現象的第二個原因。

　　5 寫一句話來解釋、支持這個原因。

　　第二段便進入了正文部分，直接進入原因的表述。本文中可以有的原因為：

　　1 All kinds of media should be responsible for the students’ unacceptable behavior.

　　媒體應對學生的不良行為負責。

　　unacceptable behavior = undesirable behavior

　　2 Immoral and indecent trends in the society are also a bad influence on students.

　　社會的不良風氣對學生也會有不好的影響。

　　immoral 不道德的

　　indecent 不得體的、不禮貌的

　　Personally speaking, I think that all kinds of media should be responsible for the students’ unacceptable behavior. To enhance the popularity of magazines or radio programs, reporters often rack their brains to make up incredible stories of achieving success and fame, such as a poor girl falling in love with a prince and a common boy picked out by a music company and finally becoming a superstar. Although adults can easily distinguish the difference between reality and fiction, the young generation might be obsessed with fantasies and they are no longer concentrating on their studies, which is detrimental to their future. Moreover, immoral and indecent trends in the society are also a bad influence on students. For instance, the youth drug abuse presents one of the most intractable problems puzzling the whole society.

　　Both families and schools should cooperate closely to solve the problems that lead to students’ misbehavior.

　　家長與學校應當緊密合作以解決這個問題。

　　It is probably no exaggeration to say that students’ misconduct will definitely affect their future occupations and careers. The fierce social competition means only those who have made adequate preparations can survive. So, in order to guarantee them a bright future, both families and schools should cooperate closely to solve the problems that lead to students’ misbehavior. Parents cannot put off their obligation of educating their children by the excuse of their own work and schools are supposed to communicate with parents in time once there is something wrong with their kids. Only when both sides make coordinated efforts will it be possible to modify the students’ undesirable behavior.

　　1、列數據(raising figures)

　　句型：

　　列數據的寫作方法較講道理更有說服力，但是這就需要我們在平時生活中多做積累才能應付列舉考試中出現的各個話題的一些相關數字。

　　雅思考試中的數據其實可以分成兩大類，一類是有科學依據的，另一類是指一些調查報告的數據，如大學生平均一天花多少時間自習，初中生平均一天花多少時間玩電腦游戲等，這類數據無據可依，考生完全可以自己根據論證內容給出數據，但一定要符合邏輯。我們通過一例來使用列數據的雅思寫作方法：

　　Eg.The retired people tend to offer service for the benefits of the family and the community.

　　要對這樣一個topic sentence做列數據的擴展，我們首先要找到可列數據的點，此題有兩處，一是退休老人的年齡，二是所花時間。結合上述句型，得出論證過程如下：

　　As is reported, the average time that the retired within the age group above 65 spend on the family and the community is at its length of about 5 hours per day.

　　2、比較(contrast &comparison)

　　在雅思大作文的寫作中，考生可以拿相同或相反的事物做比較，相同關系叫對照(comparison)，相反關系叫對比(contrast)。此類論證我們重點掌握一些對比對照關系的連詞：

　　In contrast, by contrast, on the contrary, while, whereas

　　Likewise, similarly

　　3、引用(quotation)

　　在雅思大作文寫作論證的過程中，表達一些觀點的時候，如果能拿名人名言來進行論證則更有說服力，說明某位名人的觀點和你的觀點是達成一致，形成共鳴的。但引用要求考生要有相當大的積累，由于備考時間緊迫，此類論證可以少用。而不是中文寫作中，引用越多越好。

　　4、讓步(making concession)

　　讓步的論證是中國考生較陌生的一個概念，其實在學狀語從句時，我們就學過讓步的關系，先退一步承認一個與自己觀點相反的事實，再轉折給出自己的觀點，否定前者。句型如下：

　　Although/ though/ in spite of the fact that …

　　As is granted/ Admittedly, …

　　Opponents would argue that …

　　讓步這種方法的優點為能較全面的看待一個問題，而且反駁更能有的放矢。具體例子如下：

　　Eg. People don not believe that saving money is a good idea in modern society.

　　這個Topic sentence的觀點很明確，存錢在當代社會不是好主意，顯然，用讓步論證的話，我們要先承認存錢的優點，再根據所列有點進行反駁。

　　As is granted, saving money offers people a sense of security in case of emergency. However, people tend to believe that wise investment can get more profits.
