Thank you all so very much.Thank you to the Academy, thank you to all of you in this room.
I have to congratulate the other incredible nominees this year for the unbelievable performances.
"The Revenant" was the product of the tireless efforts of an unbelievable cast and crew I got to work alongside.
First off, to my brother in this endeavor, Mr. Tom Hardy. Tom, your fierce talent on screencan only be surpassed by your friendship off screen to Mr. Alejandro Inarritu. As the history of cinema is on forth, you have forged a way into history the past two years. What an unbelievable talent you are. Thank you to you and Chivo for creating a transcendent cinematic experience for all of us.
Thank you to everybody at Fox and New Regency, particularly Arnon Milchan, you are the champion in this endeavor, my entire team.
I have to thank everyone from the very onset of my career Mr. Kaden Jones for casting me for my first film. To Mr Scorsese for teaching me so much about the cinematic art form. To Mr Rick Yorn, thank you for helping me navigate my way through this industry. And to my parents, none of this would be possible without you.
And my friends, I love you dearly, you know who you are.
And lastly I just want to say this: Making‘The Revenant’ was about man's relationship to the natural world. A world that we collectively felt in 2015 as the hottest year inrecorded history. Our production needed to move to the southern tip of this planet just to be able to find snow.
Climate changeis real, it is happening right now. It is the most urgent threat facing our entire species, and we need to work collectively together and stop procrastinating.
We need to support leaders around the world who do not speak for the big polluters, the big corporations, but who speak for all of humanity, for the indigenous people of the world, for the billions and billions of underprivileged people who wouldbe most affected by this. For our children’s children, and for those people out there whose voices have been drowned out by the politics of greed.
I thank you all for this amazing award tonight. Let us not take this planet for granted. I do not take tonight for granted.

首先，感謝我的兄弟——湯姆·哈迪先生付出的努力。湯姆，你在屏幕下對桑德羅·伊納里圖的手足情深與屏幕上的出色表演同樣精彩感人。你在過去兩年里，在電影行業(yè)的歷史進程上獨辟蹊徑。你是一個多么驚人的天才!感謝你和奇沃為我們所有人創(chuàng)造出非同尋常的電影體驗。

我最后唯一想說的是：人與自然的主題，是《荒野獵人》的成功要素。在過去的2015年，我們無一例外地感受到了：自然界創(chuàng)下了記錄，是有史以來最熱的一年。而我們公司遠赴地球的最南端才尋到了雪景。
氣候變化是千真萬確的，此刻也在變化。這是我們?nèi)祟惷媾R的迫在眉睫的威脅，我們需要齊心協(xié)力，爭分奪秒。
我們需要支持世界各地這樣的領導人：他們不為大污染者和大企業(yè)辯護，卻為天下黎民、為同胞百姓、為最容易被環(huán)境污染的數(shù)以億計的窮人請命，為我們的子孫后代，為被利欲熏心的政治剝奪了發(fā)言權(quán)的人請命。
我為今晚這一神奇的獎項感謝所有的人。讓我們不要想當然地看待地球，我也不想當然地看待今夜。
