　　Hello, my professors.It's a fine day today,and i'm very pleased to meet you here.First of all,i'd like to introduce myself to you.My name is xxxxxx,my hometown is xxxxxx,which is a really beautiful city.Even when i was a young boy,i was very interested in biology science.Every one may have a dream,and i still remember that my dream is to be a biology scientist .I liked to make wonders just like,where are we from?Where are we going in the universe?And then i would find the answers in book by myself.Still today i think that interest is the best teacher in one's whole life . Second, i will introduce my major in the university.My major is Biological Engineering in xxxxxx University.It has a great relationship with biology scince.Their relationship can be shown with an example: Just like a river,biology science,which often finds new discoveries and theories, is at the head of the river.And my major,which lays more stress on practical use, seems to be at the end of it.When both of them interact well enough,the discovries and theories in biology science can be soon turned into products in all of the modern industry. Four years' university education gives me a lot of things to learn,a lot of chances to try,and a lot of practices to improve myself.It teaches me not only what to study and how to think,but also to see the importance of practical ability . In the university life,i have made many good friends.They help me improve my study and research ability, do ererything just like a man,and often give me good example to follow. Besides what i have introduced myself above,i also have many interests in my are time.I like playing football,which is an effective way i think to improve my body health,and it can teach me how to join in a group and deal with other people.Drawing and writing is another favor to me. 　　i am a third year master major in automation at shanghai jiao tong university, p. r. china. with tremendous interest in industrial engineering, i am writing to apply for acceptance into your ph.d. graduate program. &;nbsp;education background

　　in 1995, i entered the nanjing university of science &; technology (nust) -- widely considered one of the china’s best engineering schools. during the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. i was granted first class prize every semester,in 1999, i got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission test. at the period of my graduate study, my overall gpa(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5% in the department. in the second semester, i became teacher assistant that is given to talented and matured students only. this year, i won the acer scholarship as the one and only candidate in my department, which is the ultimate accolade fordistinguished students endowed by my university. presently, i am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of excellent graduation thesis. research experience and academic activity when a sophomore, i joined the association of ai enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research. with the tool of opengl and matlab, i designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. it is now widely used by different research groups in nust. i assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis &; dispose project for nanjing sewage treatment plant. this was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product. in retrospect, i find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and experience, which has prepared me for the ph.d. program. my future research interests include: network scheduling problem, heuristic algorithm research (especially in ga and neural network), supply chain network research, hybrid system performance analysis with petri nets and data mining.

　　教育背景

　　1995，我進(jìn)入了南京大學(xué)的科學(xué)與技術(shù)(文)-被廣泛認(rèn)為是中國(guó)最好的工程學(xué)校。在接下來(lái)的本科學(xué)習(xí)期間，我的學(xué)術(shù)記錄在整個(gè)部門(mén)中保持了杰出的。我每學(xué)期都被授予頭等獎(jiǎng)，1999，我有幸進(jìn)入研究生課程的`入學(xué)考試。

　　在我的研究生學(xué)習(xí)期間，我的總平均成績(jī)(3.77 / 4)排名前5%的部門(mén)。在第二個(gè)學(xué)期，我成為了老師的助手，只給有才華和成熟的學(xué)生。這一年，我獲得了宏碁獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金作為唯一的候選人在我的部門(mén)，這是最終的榮譽(yù)fordistinguished學(xué)生賦予我的大學(xué)。目前，我正在準(zhǔn)備我的畢業(yè)論文，并試圖為優(yōu)秀的畢業(yè)論文的榮譽(yù)。

　　當(dāng)大二的時(shí)候，我加入了人工智能愛(ài)好者協(xié)會(huì)，并開(kāi)始縮小我的興趣，我的未來(lái)的研究。隨著OpenGL和Matlab的工具，我設(shè)計(jì)了一個(gè)仿真程序的運(yùn)輸調(diào)度系統(tǒng)。現(xiàn)在不同的研究小組在學(xué)院廣泛應(yīng)用。我承擔(dān)并完成了南京市污水處理廠的污水分析處理項(xiàng)目。這是我第一次將實(shí)驗(yàn)室的想法轉(zhuǎn)換成商業(yè)產(chǎn)品的做法。

　　回想起來(lái)，我發(fā)現(xiàn)自己站在堅(jiān)實(shí)的基礎(chǔ)上，在理論和經(jīng)驗(yàn)，這已經(jīng)為我準(zhǔn)備的博士課程。我未來(lái)的研究方向包括：網(wǎng)絡(luò)調(diào)度問(wèn)題的啟發(fā)式算法的研究(特別是在遺傳算法和神經(jīng)網(wǎng)絡(luò))，供應(yīng)鏈網(wǎng)絡(luò)的研究，混合動(dòng)力系統(tǒng)的性能分析與Petri網(wǎng)和數(shù)據(jù)挖掘。
