請假條(written request for leave)是英語學(xué)習(xí)者必須掌握的常用應(yīng)用文之一，它包括請病假(note for sick leave)和請事假(leave of absence)。請假條是用于向老師或上級(jí)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)等因身體狀況不好或因某事請求準(zhǔn)假的場合。
英文請假條寫作需注意三點(diǎn)：
1.英文中請假條的.寫法和漢語請假條相同， 它一般由四部分組成，即時(shí)間、稱呼、正文和簽名。
2.一般而言，可認(rèn)定請假條是一種簡單的書信文體。請假條一般寫在紙上，不用信封。其書寫格式與書信有很多相似之處，是書信的大大簡化。
