英語面試自我介紹技巧
今天小編就教大家英語面試中自我介紹的技巧。
When an interviewer asks this question, s/he is trying to find out about your personality. S/he wants to find out about things that are not written on a resume like your motivation, your attitude to work and life, how you deal with other people and problems. In many situations the answers to these non-work related questions will influence the interviewer as much as your resume. This is especially true if the interviewer is from America or Europe.
當(dāng)面試官問這個(gè)問題，她/他是在試圖了解你的個(gè)性。她/他想了解你簡(jiǎn)歷中未提及的一些東西，比如你的動(dòng)機(jī)，你工作和生活的態(tài)度，以及你是怎樣處理人際關(guān)系和問題的。在很多情形下，這些貌似和工作無關(guān)的回答會(huì)和你的簡(jiǎn)歷一樣影響到變面試官的看法。尤其是當(dāng)這個(gè)面試官來自于美國(guó)或歐洲。
Answer Strategies

1. First, you must understand the importance of this personal question. The interviewer really isn’t interested in knowing your family history. S/he is interested in finding out how your family has influenced you and how your personal history has formed your personality and attitude to life.
首先，你必須明白關(guān)于這個(gè)個(gè)人問題的重要性。面試官并不是真的對(duì)你的家庭情況感興趣。她/他只是想了解你家庭對(duì)你的影響你，你的人生經(jīng)歷是如何鑄造你的性格，以及你的人生態(tài)度。
2. Second, answer with information that shows how your past experience has helped prepare you for this job. Focus only on important information that is meaningful in the interview and avoid giving a long answer about your grandfather and pet dog.
For example, every employer wants to hire responsible, honest and hardworking employees. Therefore, you could say: “I come from a family with strong traditional values like understanding the importance of hard work, of loyalty and of being responsible.”
Every employer wants to hire people who will fit into the company and cooperate with others. So if you want to describe your hobby you could say: “I enjoy playing football because I enjoy the teamwork involved in having players working together to reach a common objective.”
其次，回答問題要顯示出你過去的經(jīng)驗(yàn)是對(duì)你這份工作的準(zhǔn)備是有幫助的。回答側(cè)重于對(duì)面試有意義的內(nèi)容，不要講一堆關(guān)于你爺爺和寵物狗的故事…
例如，每個(gè)老板都想雇傭有責(zé)任心、誠(chéng)實(shí)而且工作勤奮的員工。所以，你可以這么說：“我來自于一個(gè)有著傳統(tǒng)價(jià)值觀的家庭，我明白認(rèn)真工作、忠誠(chéng)和富有責(zé)任心的重要性。”
每個(gè)老板都想雇傭適合公司、并且可以和其他人合作的人。所以如果你是描述你的興趣，可以這么說：“我喜歡踢足球，因?yàn)槲蚁矚g團(tuán)隊(duì)合作，和別人一起達(dá)到一個(gè)共同的目標(biāo)。”
3. DON’T – Tell very personal stories. “When I was young my grandfather told me that being an accountant was a great job. I loved my grandfather very much so I wanted to follow his advice.”
This really isn’t a good story as it suggests you don’t think for yourself and it is too personal in an interview and choosing a career because you love your grandfather really isn’t a good reason.
切忌–講述一些非常私人的故事話題。“我小時(shí)候，我爺爺就告訴我當(dāng)個(gè)會(huì)計(jì)很有前途。我愛我爺爺，所以我想遵從他的建議。”
這個(gè)真的不適合，因?yàn)檫@說明你沒有自己的規(guī)劃，并且對(duì)面試來所太過“個(gè)人”了，你因?yàn)閻勰銧敔敹x擇這條職業(yè)路真的不是一個(gè)很好的理由。

I come from rural China where I grew up in a traditional Chinese family. From my parents I learned the importance of hard work, honesty and responsibility. During my education I learned that diligence and hard work are important for success. I move to Shanghai to find opportunities to develop myself. I’m an outgoing person who enjoys meeting new people, working with others and challenging myself. In my free time I play football because I love being a part of a team and working towards an objective with others.
我出身于一個(gè)傳統(tǒng)的中國(guó)農(nóng)村家庭。從我父母身上，我知道努力工作、誠(chéng)信和責(zé)任感的重要性。在我所接受的教育中，我知道勤奮和努力是成功的關(guān)鍵。我到上海尋找自我發(fā)展的機(jī)遇。我是個(gè)性格外向的人，喜歡結(jié)交新的朋友，和其他人合作，并進(jìn)行自我提挑戰(zhàn)。有空時(shí)喜歡踢足球，因?yàn)槲蚁矚g成為團(tuán)隊(duì)的一員，和其他人一起為一個(gè)共同的目標(biāo)奮斗。
Remember when giving personal information make sure it is relevant to the interview and that it demonstrates something positive about you and how you would add value to the company.
記得在講述個(gè)人信息的時(shí)候一定要確保是和面試相關(guān)的內(nèi)容，且能顯示出你積極的一面，告訴對(duì)方你可給公司帶來價(jià)值。
