《老鼠嫁女兒》
Once upon a time, there was a mouse father.
He wanted to marry his daughter to the greatest person in the world.
But, who was the greatest person in the world?
Oh! The sun! He must be the greatest person in the world.
The mouse father went to talk to the sun.
“Hello! Mr. Sun. I know you are the greatest person in the world.
Would you marry my daughter?”
“What? I’m not the greatest person in the world. The greatest person is the cloud.
If he comes out, I’ll be covered.”
The mouse father went to talk to the cloud.
“Hello! Mr. Cloud. I know you are the greatest person in the world.
Would you marry my daughter?”
“What? I’m not the greatest person in the world. The greatest person is the wind.
If he comes out, I’ll be blown away.”
The mouse father went to talk to the wind.
“Hello! Mr. Wind. I know you are the greatest person in the world.
Would you marry my daughter?”
“What? I’m not the greatest person in the world. The greatest person is the wall.
If he comes out, I’ll be stopped.”
The mouse father went to talk to the wall.
“Hello! Mr. Wall. I know you are the greatest person in the world.
Would you marry my daughter?”
“What? I’m not the greatest person in the world. The greatest person is YOU, the mouse.”
“The greatest person in the world is … mouse?”
“Yes, the greatest person in the world is mouse. See? If mouse comes out, I’ll be bit!”
The mouse father was very happy.
He finally knew mouse was the greatest person in the world.
He would marry his daughter to the handsome mouse next door.

他想要將他的女兒嫁給世界上最偉大的人
但是，誰是世界上最偉大的人呢?
啊!是太陽!他一定是世界上最偉大的人
老鼠爸爸就去找太陽說話

你愿意娶我的女兒嗎?
什么?我才不是世界上最偉大的人呢!最偉大的應(yīng)該是云
只要他一出現(xiàn)，我就被遮住了
老鼠爸爸就去找云
哈啰!云先生，我知道你是世界上最偉大的人
你愿意娶我的女兒嗎?
什么?我才不是世界上最偉大的人呢!最偉大的應(yīng)該是風(fēng) 只要他一出現(xiàn)，我就被吹的遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)的
老鼠爸爸就去找風(fēng)
哈啰!風(fēng)先生，我知道你是世界上最偉大的人
你愿意娶我的女兒嗎?
什么?我才不是世界上最偉大的人呢!最偉大的應(yīng)該是墻
只要他一出現(xiàn)，我就被擋住了
老鼠爸爸就去找墻
哈啰!墻先生，我知道你是世界上最偉大的人
你愿意娶我的女兒嗎?
什么?我才不是世界上最偉大的人呢!最偉大的其實(shí)是你們!是老鼠!
世界上最偉大的人…是老鼠?
沒錯!世界上最偉大的就是老鼠，你看，只要你們一出現(xiàn)，我就被挖洞了!
老鼠爸爸好開心!
他終于知道世界上最偉大的人了，就是老鼠。
他決定要將自己的女兒嫁給隔壁英俊的鼠小弟。
《山羊與牧羊人》
A GOATHERD had sought to bring back a stray goat to his flock. He whistled and sounded his horn in vain; the straggler paid no attention to the summons. At last the Goatherd threw a stone， and breaking its horn， begged the Goat not to tell his master. The Goat replied， "Why， you silly fellow， the horn will speak though I be silent." Do not attempt to hide things which cannot be hid. 【譯文】 很多山羊被牧羊人趕到羊圈里。有一只山羊不知在吃什么好東西，單獨(dú)落在后面。牧羊人拿起一塊石頭扔了過去，正巧打斷了山羊的一只角。牧羊人嚇得請求山羊不要告訴主人，山羊說：“即使我不說，又怎能隱瞞下去呢?我的角已斷了，這是十分明顯的事實(shí)。” 這故事說明，明顯的罪狀是無法隱瞞的。
