My name is Luo Minliang. I graduated from the FirstNo. 1 Middle School of Changsha, Hunan Province in which there is a long history and culture heritage. I want to apply for a chance to continue my education in Politecnico di Torino.
To be in Italy has been my dream for several years. Italy is the birthplace of Roman Empire, and it is the cradle of European Renaissance. Furthermore, the delicious foods and beautiful scenery are famous all over the world. Pasta is always my favorite whenever I went to a western restaurant.
What’s more important, Italy is the soul of the architecture in the world, and Politecnico di Torino is a leader school in the architecture field. My sister who has great influence on me is an architecture graduate. So I always have dense interest on architecture. If I could get the chance to study architecture in Politecnino di Torino, I will be surely honored, and try my best in studying.
I always believe that diligence and perseverance are indispensable for the road of study. The abilities of independent thinking and creativity are very important. My organizing ability is good. And I’m glad to participate in various social activities. Language learning is always a pleasure to me; I have confidence to master Italian in a short period since it’s so beautiful and attract me. I am a Chinese undergraduate from Nanjing Medical University, which is one of the top 10 medical universities in China, and I will graduate in 2015. After that, I want to continue my education by pursuing a master degree in the United States.
I am now in the department of medicine. My primary interest is in ophthalmology, and I notice that MIT medical school is on top of that field, so I decide to exert myself to get in.
Your research in “Cornea and Refractive Surgery”, especially your
publications on Lancet are of particular interest to me. And I would like to deal with ophthalmology surgery in my career. That's why I seek entry to your theme.
During my university years, I am used to working in a team environment. I think I’m competent to be chosen as a member of yours. I love my major and I have been working hard since I entered the university. And in every semester, I got my grades over 85 percent. I think that it’s a recognition and encouragement to me. In the meantime, I spent a lot of time studying English after class.
